Dipendra Rana
Dipendra has lived in Portland for over 30 years. He specializes in complex civil litigation. Dipendra spent several years as a judicial law clerk at the Multnomah County Circuit Court. There he learned the skills necessary to represent clients effectively through trial, when necessary. Mainly, Dipendra realized that there is no better experience than working with litigants, judges and lawyers alike, in an actual courtroom setting. Litigation skills cannot be learned through reading books or attending classes!
Education
Dipendra received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Lewis and Clark College in 1992. Thereafter, he worked at Oregon Health and Science University in a surgical setting for almost 10 years. Strangely enough, he ended up getting his law degree from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College. While attending law school, Dipendra participated in the Jessup International Regional Moot Court Championship Final in San Francisco. His team was awarded the honor for Best Brief.
Professional Affiliation
Dipendra is admitted to practice law in the State of Oregon. He was also admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Utah in the past.
Personal
Dipendra’s interests include travel, wildlife, soccer, cycling, racquet sports, cross country skiing, target shooting, and the occasional wine tasting with his wife, Shannon. He also enjoys spending time with his kids, grandkids and the plethora of animals around his home.
